The Office of Graduate Admissions makes every effort to process your application in time for the semester of your choice. Adhering to the Graduate Admissions Office deadline dates below helps ensure a decision before the semester starts. We require that your application and all supporting materials be received by the date indicated or we may not have time to consider you for the desired term. International applicants should also allow adequate time for visa processing.
Please note that several programs have firm deadlines which are earlier than those listed here. We cannot guarantee complete processing of applications received after the filing dates listed below.

What Happens After I Apply?
Depending on the time of year, the graduate admission process can take as long as ten to twelve weeks, and sometimes longer for international students. After your application is received in the Office of Graduate Admissions, it proceeds through initial processing in which your application is entered into the university database. Shortly thereafter, your credentials will be collated, reviewed for eligibility and completeness and shared with the program you selected. From that point, each academic program reserves the right to review applications and make admission recommendations at their own pace and in accordance with their own process. Please note that many academic programs require additional application requirements, beyond those required by the Office of Graduate Admissions, which must be submitted directly to the program. Failure to do so may negatively impact the timely review of your application.
To conclude the process, the academic program will make a recommendation to the Office of Graduate Admissions to either admit or deny an application. The official notification of such decision will be provided to you by the Office of Graduate Admissions.
Please keep in mind that your admission is for a specific term only. If you don't enroll during the term for which you were admitted, you must complete a Graduate Re-Application.
