Graduate Application

Apply Online to a graduate program.

Application Fee

The application fee for all graduate applicants is $50, payable in US funds, is non-refundable, and should be submitted electronically with your on-line application at time of submission. American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa credit cards are accepted as are bank debit cards and electronic checks.  All payments should be made out to Wayne State University.  Be sure to include your name in the memo section, where possible.  The application fee is valid for four consecutive academic terms.  Fees subject to change without notice.

Graduate Re-Application
In order to reapply, please create a new user account and submit an online application for the term and program you wish.  We will then use all supporting documents you submitted with your first application, if less than one year old, to process your re-application, where available and applicable.  You can complete an online application at:

Graduate Guest Admission Application
Use this application if you are currently pursuing a graduate degree at a regionally accredited college or university other than Wayne State, and want to transfer one term of WSU graduate coursework back to your home institution. Find out more.

Graduate Permit to Register Application
The Permit to Register option is not available in all university schools and colleges. Before submitting the application to the Office of Graduate Admissions, you must receive written approval from the college or department. Find out more.

Post-Bachelor Admission
Post Bachelor is an undergraduate status. Graduate Students may wish to enroll in this status to complete undergraduate level prerequisite coursework for a graduate program. Find out more.
